LP617 Mountable Sambago Bells
These bells trace their roots back to Africa and then to the metal Agogo Bells played throughout Brazil. LP introduced the wooden Agogo Bell in the 1960's to extend the tonal range of this traditional instrument. The use of high impact plastic in the creation of LP SambagoTM Bells delivers a crisp and consistent sound unlike any existing instrument. The LP Sambago Bells are pitched so that they have complimentary tones - high and low - approximately one minor third apart. Their brilliant sound combined with their bold, colorful look makes them perfect for the professional percussionist yet simple enough for the novice musician.
아고고벨이란?
아고고 벨은 2개의 둥굴고 긴 카우벨을 중앙에 V자형의 스프링 막대에 연결한 것으로
특이한 음을 갖는 아프리카 서부에서 기원한 악기이다.
쿠바와 브라질에서 카니발 기간 동안 콩거 춤을 추는 특정한 음악적인 그룹에 의하여 전통적으로 자주 사용된 악기로 유연한 금속 막대에 결합하여 사용하는 작은 벨이다.
삼바와 라틴 아메리카 음악에
사용되는 손으로 만들어져 원시적으로 보이는 악기도 사용되고 있으며 아프리카의 음악에 뿌리를 가지고 있다. 벨은 원뿔 모양으로 얇은 금속을 용접하여 만들어진다.
아프리칸 아고고벨 (African agogo bells) 이라고도 한다. 연주법은 스틱을 갖고 아고고를 치는 주법과 두개의 벨을 서로 부딪치게 하는 주법(Clacking the agogo together by squeezing)이 있다. 벨 사이에 평균 음정은 완전4도 정도 이다.
