GLODEN SOUNDS FROM THE ANCIENT WORLD OF CYMBAL MAKING

Istanbul is the birthplace of the manufacture of handmade cymbals and the age-old methods of manufacture of the 16th century are proudly carried on by the cymbalsmiths of the Turkish Cymbals Company.

Although we are modern company, having been established in Istanbul, Turkey in 1996 all our products are produced by ancient techniques. Beginning with the secret selection of metals to be smelted in our wood and charcoal furnaces, the pouring and rolling of the thin copper alloy ready to be hammered and finally the finishing entirely by hand.

This is hard work and labour intensive and relies totally on the skill and experience of our craftsmen, but it's worth it for the individual sound that drummers find when they test our cymbals. You too will be delighted to find many different sound characteristics in our range.

At the Turkish Cymbals Company our goal is to procude the sound that all drummers want and need - a unique sound for the modern musician.
